After much scouring of the internet for something lovely I could make, I stumbled across this lovely
blog. This blog inspired me to be more colourful rather than co-ordinate, and I decided to make the
summer garden granny blanket that the lovely Lucy posted. Brilliantly, Lucy also made just the best tutorial any beginner could ever hope for!! I have opted for darker, more rustic (my favourite word) colours and have completed 5 squares already!
The photo seen here are the squares that Lucy made and they definitely do look very summery! Perhaps this was the deciding factor for me to make it, I don't know about you but I am looking forward to the summer after all the greyness of winter!
Hopefully soon I can post a photo of my completed granny blanket!!
