Another mini project today...cupcakes!!
I have a pretty wire cakestand in my lounge that needs filling, seeing as I am not the biggest fan of edible cakes I thought I would crochet some instead! I bought a pattern from Lynne's Pattern Parlour some time ago and I gave it a trial run today. It is a bit smaller than I expected so might tweek the pattern slightly and use fatter wool.
So this is my prototype, a bit simple but I made it without any hassle whatsoever, sign of a good clear pattern me thinks! The pattern has many variations of toppings; different creams, a berry, a flower, some fruit and some leaves so it can be made as eccentrc as I like!
Yummy!
