Just a quick one as my time is very much taken up with University assignments at the moment! I will be free for three weeks after the 15th December and I will hopefully have a crochet reveal for you not long after that!

I have received a blog award! Yippee! My first one ever! This one has been given to me by Melissa from Your Handmade Home and is the Liebster Award, meaning 'dearest' and is given to blogs with under 200 followers.

Now I need to give this award to 5 others and here they are, in no particular order...

Melksham Mum - This is not a crafty blog but a place for Viv to express her feelings, talk about what she likes/dislikes and to have some fun! I feel really connected to Viv through what she writes about on her blog and on twitter and I only wish I had more blogging reading time! Viv often makes me laugh which is a big part of why I like her too!

Daffodils and Snowdrops - Like Viv, I feel a connection to Em. I chat with her every now and then on twitter and again I wish I had more time on my hands! Em's blog is full to the brim with uber craftiness! WARNING, you will feel craft envy!!

Craftyguider - Ah yes, the illusive Louise! I have struck up quite a friendship with Louise on twitter and I was so excited when she started up her shop and blog. Louise is like an entity to me, I have never seen a photo of her, I don't know how old she is and I don't know her children's names or her husbands (which is the best way really on a social network site like twitter, I just blab everything!) and this is the first time I have gotten to know somebody but have no idea what they look like which is quite a nice experience and tells me more about myself as a person. That is a very long sentence! Anyway, it just goes to show that you don't need to know anything about a person in order to like them a lot! I really think we should all catch on to Louise's idea of #twift - twitter gift, during December. I will be getting round to mine one day, feeling a bit guilty that I haven't so far! Snipsnaphappy - Crochet envy!! The lovely Ali, again another person I like on twitter! Her crochet skills are amazing and I am always inspired by what I see on her blog!

Your Handmade Home - I don't know if the rules of Liebster blog exclude the giver of the award when giving your own, but if it does, then I am breaking the rules! Melissa is possibly the busiest crafter I have ever come across, she sews and crochets her way through an enormous amount of makes and then has time to blog about them, which is great as it means I get to see!! Melissa is also another twitter friend that I chat to from time to time.

I love writing about things as it always teaches me about myself, stuff I haven't thought of pops ups! I now realise that I can be friends with people even though I have never met them, no issue in that really! That I should spend more time reading peoples blogs as I am bad at keeping up with it all! That I am very influenced by twitter with my blog reading. And that I love twitter and blogging!!
