A musical post!

      On Monday we went along to Wilde Rose Studio so my daughter, Saffron, could record a song. She chose Alesha Dixon's The Boy Does Nothing, which I think is quite a fun song to sing! 

      Wilde Rose Studio is in Northwold, Norfolk. Jinian is the chap behind it all, he is a renowned vocalist with many years experience. You can read a little more about him here and listen to some clips of songs you would recognise that he has had a part in. You can also find him on twitter.

      I know Jinian through a college friend of mine, the lovely Marina. They got married last week so congratulations to them both! As a thank you gift to them I made them a special hoopla picture which you can see below. 

      Saffron thoroughly enjoyed herself and Jinian was a lot of fun which helped her to feel quite relaxed about doing it. I think the recording studio is a great idea as you can record songs for loved ones as a gift which is really special and unique. Also, you can purchase gift vouchers for the keen singers in your life! My friend, Sara,  recently took four of her daughters to record a song for another daughter who is leaving home at the beginning of September. They then compiled a video of photos with the song playing over it. My friend also said a little message at the end of the song. It's a bit of a tearjerker but Zoe loves it and it is just a beautiful gift to give.
